Vintage MacKenzie-Childs WOOD CHARGER tray plate platter COURTLY-CHECK-Gold

Listed for sale is this large (14 diameter) wood charger plate platter tray from MacKenzie-Childs. Lovely handpainted Courtly Check design with gold gilding and subtle reddish undertones, which give the work an aged look. Very good condition, light wear, with the exception of partial print wash on bottom. Original MacKenzie-Child price label on back. This piece goes back to the early days of Victoria and MacKenzie-Childs of Aurora NY in the Finger Lakes area. The forty-two acre grounds, as I recall, were beautifully maintained. It was always a nice drive from Ithaca to Aurora NY on 34B when I lived in upstate New York.
