Large Antique Carved Wooden Serving Tray, Grapes, Thistles, Hands of Friendship
An unusual carved rectangular tray, with bunches of grapes and vine leaves around the edge, male and female hands in the central panel which is surrounded by a thistle border. Chrome handles at either end. Very good antique condition, with some light wear.
Size: tray is 61 x 39 cm, rim is 3 cm high, the handles protrude a further couple of cm, weight 2.3 Kg Please examine the pictures carefully, they are part of the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash. The item will first be wrapped bubble before packing securely in a solid box with lots of peanuts - earthquake proof. Just occasionally this could extend to 2-3 days, however.
