Displayed in a Wooden Tray under Glass. With inlaid Wooden Marquetry around the Frame. The scene is of an American eagle carrying the U.
Surrounding the flag scene are 4 smaller tropical scenes. All of the butterfly wings are where they should be. The painting on the reverse of the glass has flaked a bit. There is a hairline crack on the right side of the wood handle which is barely visible. The writing on the bottom says Lembranca De Pernambuco Brazil. The tray measures 24 ½ x 15 ½.
