Up for sale is a Richard Nissen Danmark / Denmark wood and cast iron warming tray. This warming tray is a unique and hard-to-find piece, and is new, never been used, and can be used to serve warm food at a buffet table or instead of a chafing dish. It consists of a teak wood base, and a removable cast iron grid-patterned piece that fits on the top, along with a cast iron sterno-type piece and two stainless steel holders that look like they might be for candles or possibly a small sterno-type fuel source. The teak wooden base has wonderful built-in grooves on each end of the piece that serve as handles, and impressions in the base that fit the cast iron and stainless steel heat source holders. Note that the two small metal stainless steel holders have some rust spots on the underside rim (see last photo), otherwise I see no flaws on this new and unused piece. This beautiful and unique warming tray is heavy, weighing just under 10 pounds, and measures 18 inches long, 8 inches deep, and 5 inches high.
