Absolutely Beautiful Dansk Dark Wenge Wood Tray & Cheese Board from the "Rare Woods" Collection. Designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk 1960s. Marked on edge "Dansk Design Denmark JHQ".

Excellent Condition - gently used - in excellent condition, near mint with any signs of wear consistent with age, purpose and use. This is an early Dansk piece made in Denmark, quality, feel of the board and the finish is simply superb. A rare and perfect find for your Mid Century Modern style decor. Excellent shape, form, and texture of wood. Fabulous Mid Century Modern tray or cheese board made of exotic naturally very dark Wenge Wood, with organic variations in the wood grain. A two sided board, one side has a teak end grain butcher block center, just a perfect cheese board. The other side is almost flat graceful and subtle concave surface, with a minimalist curved edge to hold food. One of the few Dansk boards with a mark on the narrow edge. Spots from photo lighting, the finish is even toned in color. Measurements approximate: 15.75" across by 1.24" high. Dansk Wenge Wood and Teak Tray or Cheese Board.
