For sale is a very masterfully carved mahogany serving tray. This tray has fans and very detailed carving throughout.

The wood is either walnut or mahogany. There is a handle on each side. My estimate is that it dates from the mid to late 1800's.

There are very old screws in the bottom which look hand made and are original to the piece. The condition is very good. There is a crack on the edge of the bottom shown in photo 5.

The crack does not show through on the top, it is cover by the picture frame molding. There are also a few, very very small cracks on one of the fans. There may have been a piece of glass originally covering the design, which could easily be replaced if so desired.
